Pad Kra Pao
What
Sauce:
- 1 part light soy sauce
- 0.5 part dark soy sauce
- 2 parts fish sauce
- 1.5 parts palm sugar
- 1 part oyster sause
Rest:
- 6 cloves garlic
- 5-7 red Thai chillies
- 2-3 eggs
- Hot jasmine rice
- 3/4 cup long beans(cut into small
- 1 Ibs ground pork/chicken/beef
- 2 cups holy basil or Thai Basil
How
- Finely mince, garlic and chilies or use mortar and pestle.
- Cut beans into 1cm pieces
- Start rice
- Fry garlic and chili
- Add ground meat and fry until brown
- Add sause and beans and fry until beans are desired softness.
- Add basil and fry another min
- Fry egg in separate pan
- Serve with rice 🍚 plaited using bowl trick and meat around the mound. Finishing with egg on top. Hopefully yolk is still runny.
