Stuffing
Pretty easy side dish for holiday dinners.
Ingredients
- 175g butter
- ~450g stale bread
- one chopped yellow onion
- bunch of sliced celery
- fresh herbs (parsley, sage, rosemary, thyme)
- big pinch salt
- pepper
- chicken broth
- two eggs
Instructions
- Dry out the bread in the oven at 120C. Then let cool.
- Fry the onions and celery in butter.
- Chop herbs.
- Add bread to bowl and combine with veggies and herbs along with salt and pepper.
- Drizzle chicken broth and toss gently until soggy but not a mush.
- Whisk eggs and with bit of chicken broth and fold into mix.
- Add mix to greased baking dish, cover with foil and bake at 180C until center is 70C ~35min
- Remove foil and bake until top is brown, another ~30min
