@kev my partner and I hiked into Agrotourismus Alp Nurdagn in Switzerland. 🇨🇭 It was super beautiful. After that we did a cheaper hütte in Italy, Rifugio Chiavenna. 🇮🇹

Eventually you get a small raft to sail. Spent 10 min playing with the controller trying to figure out how to control the speed. Only to find out it’s not a button. You have to let go of the rutter, walk over to the sail, and raise or lower it. Magic!

I'm really really really not interested in computers getting more powerful.
I am super interested in them being more repairable and modifiable, drawing less power, lasting and being supported for way longer etc. That stuff still gets me excited

Seen a lot of YouTube and TikTok chefs with these containers in the fridge organizing all the stuff they cook. After searching in Germany with no luck, I found them straight from China on Temu. Excited to prep meals for friends and family.

It is super sad to see a rising athletes career get cut short because of injuries at the college level. At least now they should make it out with a big paycheck.
Also interesting what this will mean for the NBA draft. If you are projected to be a second round pick, why not stay in school as long as the money is flowing.
Living in Germany I'm exposed to FIBA basketball (not that I watch it). Paid college players could further weaken European basketball by attracting more talent to the US.

I also enjoy having a personal site / blog. One of the benefits of Mastodon, and other decentralized social media platforms, is you can include the micro blog post on your own website pretty easily.

“They have no Olympic losses since 1992”
How is that even possible!?
Looking forward to watching them this summer (on TV, I may live in Europe but actually going is out of my budget)
