@kev my partner and I hiked into Agrotourismus Alp Nurdagn in Switzerland. 🇨🇭 It was super beautiful. After that we did a cheaper hütte in Italy, Rifugio Chiavenna. 🇮🇹

Eventually you get a small raft to sail. Spent 10 min playing with the controller trying to figure out how to control the speed. Only to find out it’s not a button. You have to let go of the rutter, walk over to the sail, and raise or lower it. Magic!

I'm really really really not interested in computers getting more powerful.
I am super interested in them being more repairable and modifiable, drawing less power, lasting and being supported for way longer etc. That stuff still gets me excited

Seen a lot of YouTube and TikTok chefs with these containers in the fridge organizing all the stuff they cook. After searching in Germany with no luck, I found them straight from China on Temu. Excited to prep meals for friends and family.

It is super sad to see a rising athletes career get cut short because of injuries at the college level. At least now they should make it out with a big paycheck.
Also interesting what this will mean for the NBA draft. If you are projected to be a second round pick, why not stay in school as long as the money is flowing.
Living in Germany I'm exposed to FIBA basketball (not that I watch it). Paid college players could further weaken European basketball by attracting more talent to the US.

I also enjoy having a personal site / blog. One of the benefits of Mastodon, and other decentralized social media platforms, is you can include the micro blog post on your own website pretty easily.
