Best cooking advice I heard this week: skip making the dough and by frozen dumpling š„ skins.
Makes dumpling prep so much easier and tastes the same.

@drevrpg fighting through the crowd of tourists below it.
As someone who lives in Munich I try to avoid it.

Remaking my personal website. Moving from Hugo to Astro to support a more dynamic server side rendered site.
First big dynamic feature is the Micro Blog section which loads posts from here, Blue Sky, Pixelfed, my old Pleroma posts, and in the future Nostr (still figuring out how to sync those posts).

Parametric / Generative design is something I got into back in Architecture school. Back then it was Rhino 3D + Grasshopper. (Creating custom nodes written in C# was how I started programming). With Rhino 3Dās š¦ big paywall it is always cutoff to hobbyists and artist. Glad to see the blender community is innovating in the space. Really want to play with this Geometry Nodes feature.

Stumbled upon an old AWS lambda function that have been running diligently every hour for three years. Calls some no longer existent API endpoint and errors.
Feels like discovering you forgot to shut off the lights and they have been blinking red for three years.

Reblogged post from zyd@emacs.ch
Complexity gets a bad wrap, as in software people use it negatively to describe some system when it seems the word they'd really like to use is "convoluted", which carries a more accurate notion: overburdened, unnecessary, needlessly strained etc.

Had this single bevel knife in my collection for a while. Today, I finally got around to figuring out how to sharpen it.
Great content from Knifewear.

Completed this pillow for my wife. We had a coffee bag, from the green beans, around and some cheap cotton from the Ikea sale rack.
Happy how it turned out and I have fabric for a matching one.
