I dig it. Here is my new photograph portfolio generated by Pixelfed: gram.social/i/portfolio/travis

Just started photography hobby this month. My partner is a professional so it is a bit intimidating. mastodon.social/@pixelfed/1107

The CMYK and RGB color theory on the scale of street art is crazy. I'm experimenting with it as I explore photography

I’ve been considering getting a playdate for a long time. Art like this, wow, it’s pushing me closer to getting one. mastodon.gamedev.place/@superf

Bummed I finished Articles of Interest season five. Looking forward to season six. And a book?!? Host, Avery Trufelman, is taking a book writing break.

Amazing fashion podcast that touches so many different topics around what we wear.

Got to play some Mölkky while in Finland. 🇫🇮. Super fun. I enjoy it more than Boules style field games.

In the same way most of us say “goodbye” without realising it derives from “god be with ye”, maybe one day people will end conversations with “likensubscribe”

@jeff I recently moved a few projects off Postman to Bruno. Works well for putting a collection of HTTP and GraphQL request next to the application code in the same repo. As a dev tool I like it but in the automated testing context maybe not so much. Might be worth checking out hurl.

Went to a boardgame cafe in Helsinki and they had every game on my “want list”. Got try Race for the Galaxy 🌌. I enjoyed it. Clear to see it was inspiration for Terraforming Mars Ares.

Was not an interesting series. Let’s see if Dallas vs Boston will be better.

Thanks Apple weather. I can literally hear the thunder and see the rain, yet you show sun. For Europe I’ve had better luck with

Weather Radar

Also didn’t Apple buy and shutdown the external api of Darksky, killing many open sources weather projects? Thought that would make there app more reliable.

Passed these ships in Helsinki harbor while on holiday. Turns they are ice breakers that keep shipping alive during frozen winters. One is the first “world’s first icebreaker to use an LNG engine”. Cool!
