Finished the Warrior’s Apprentice. Great space adventure novel. Title does not match the plot; there is no apprenticeship dynamic at all, more of a solo adventure for the main character Miles.

Hooked on the Vorkosigan Saga. The one about his parents, Shards of Honor, is also good.

Managed to see Dune part two! As a new parent, I’m thankful for streaming. Also because you can pause the movie and watch a YouTube recap of first one when you realize you don’t remember any of the names.

Enjoyed it, though surprised in the lack of character setbacks.

Yeah I found the recipe straight forward. In Germany butter is not sold in the same form and an entire stick seems like a lot. I’d guess, I used closer to 2/3 a stick.

Loved it! Didn’t really take the scoring based on gods into account until the last few turns, so I lost quite badly. Next time I’ll keep an eye on that.

Code running the TV streaming client is largely built on top of open source. When upstream projects deprecate support for legacy APIs or language versions eventually the clients will follow.

What about when a website no longer supports Internet Explorer? I worked in tech team of e-commerce site before. Eventually the money coming from IE users is not worth the massive upkeep of legacy spec. Now I work for streaming service, similar situation.
