Had a lot of fun with this Zine maker app. Made a birthday card for my parent.

Hey @AndreasDavour I saw #wuxia in your bio and it sent me down a research rabbit hole. Never heard of the genre.
Would you recommend me a book to get started with? A Hero Born by Jin Yong seems popular.
I normally read sci-fi or fantasy, action adventure, on the lighter/easier side. Recently read Murder Bot series and just finished two novels in Vorkosigan Saga.
Thanks

Got a chance to play Viticulture. Was fun, but I wanted to make more wine! Others won using different mechanics.

Did it! Wove a tree net style net on my partner’s espresso machine table.

Yeah I started with Shards of Honor. An adventure in its own right, it covers the backstory of Miles’ parents. Miles then goes on to be the main character through most of the series as I understand. The books before Shards are prequels that happen way in the past.

Agreed. Slow code reviews are not only annoying but hurt team velocity.

How did you like it? I’m undecided about buying Ares Expedition or the original, played both.

Finished the Warrior’s Apprentice. Great space adventure novel. Title does not match the plot; there is no apprenticeship dynamic at all, more of a solo adventure for the main character Miles.
Hooked on the Vorkosigan Saga. The one about his parents, Shards of Honor, is also good.

Reading this is making me realize how much of the react api I never use react.dev/blog/2024/04... Yet I feel compelled to know... 😮💨 just in case I need it

Always sad to see Lakers bounced from the playoffs, but as some one born in CO I respect the Nuggets. Got a feeling Jokic is going to be making laps in his horse cart this summer in Serbia with another couple trophies. 🏆🏆

Managed to see Dune part two! As a new parent, I’m thankful for streaming. Also because you can pause the movie and watch a YouTube recap of first one when you realize you don’t remember any of the names.
Enjoyed it, though surprised in the lack of character setbacks.

Yeah I found the recipe straight forward. In Germany butter is not sold in the same form and an entire stick seems like a lot. I’d guess, I used closer to 2/3 a stick.

Loved it! Didn’t really take the scoring based on gods into account until the last few turns, so I lost quite badly. Next time I’ll keep an eye on that.
