I love Pleroma for micro blogging but one of my major pain points was compressing images before uploading them. On iPhone I was using very annoying ad filled app; on desktop I used ImageMagick. All because I didn't want to overload my server with huge images that also slow down browser load times.

Last night I found out Pleroma has built in image filtering / transformation options! Now all images if larger than 900px in any dimension are shrunk down.

Upgraded this Pleroma instance to 2.4.5 ✅.
