Finished a little upcycle bag project using the Japanese fabric from my recent Berlin trip. I lined one of our tote bags with thick interfacing and a premium black patterned fabric.

Visited a charming fabric store in Berlin. Picked up some canvas (made in Poland) and bed linen fabrics. Planning on making some tote bags and pillow cases. So refreshing to step into a fabric store and everything is not pink hearts jersey fabric.
Owner / worker was super nice and really took the time to understand my needs and share some sewing stories. I’ll definitely be stopping by on my next Berlin trip.

Also if I could find the special fabric, it is something I could incorporate into my sewing hobby. Inside faraday pocket on my next fanny pack / shoulder bag project?

Completed this pillow for my wife. We had a coffee bag, from the green beans, around and some cheap cotton from the Ikea sale rack.
Happy how it turned out and I have fabric for a matching one.

First time using this technique of making a shape out of knit B + non stretch backing. Then sewing it on the inside of a garment, knit A. Ending by cutting out the inside of the shape on knit A.

Zero waste sewing is so cool! It’s not just Kanye black t-shirts I guess.

My first climbing / bouldering chalk bag. It has a roll top feature to keep your backpack clean on the way home from the gym.

My first project getting back into sewing. It's a stuff sack we use as a diaper bag.
